Zoom Solos

Private ZOOM sessions are perfect for students who are not local, are traveling or otherwise unable to get to the studio, but still want to mantain a movement practice. If you have Pilates apparatus at home, we can incorporate it with our sessions. If not, Jennifer can help you gather props you already have at home, and/or supplement with other items (i.e. exercise bands, Magic Circle, bolsters, etc) for a dynamic, personalized, effective home movement practice.

Jennifer will introduce you to Contrology (aka Pilates), and restorative movement principles and foundational exercises. We'll discuss goals, health history and studio policies. You'll learn to move safely and confidently on the apparatus while experiencing a whole body workout unique to Pilates. Most importantly, you'll have fun exploring movement, while becoming stronger, more flexible and confident in your own skin, in your own space!

Solos can be short term: frustrated with tight hamstrings or grippy hip flexors? Struggling with your Rollup on the Mat? Need help making sense of physical therapy exercises for your shoulder? Schedule a solo or two, to help address specific goals or general movement concerns.

Solos can be long term: for students who prefer to work alone, or for someone coming back to a movement practice after an illness, injury or long hiatus from exercise.

Please note: Jennifer is not a medical professional and cannot diagnose or treat any illness, injury or disease. Our work together is meant to support and supplement medical care, not to replace it. Please contact your medical provider if you have any health concern that may affect or interfere with your time at the studio.

For Zoom sessions, please have internet access, a Zoom account and a device such as a laptop, phone or tablet for our meetings.
